New partner: Freigut Thallern

Stage your meeting in an historical ensemble of buildings just outside Vienna

This historical gem with oenophile roots is a wonderfully enjoyable and unique venue for meetings and seminars.

As a freehold estate nestled in the vineyards of Gumpoldskirchen, Freigut Thallern is not only one of Austria’s oldest wine estates but also has an exquisitely stocked regional wine store, a fine restaurant, a great destination for a romantic get-away and not least a conference or seminar venue with a special atmosphere.

The seminar wing is located in the 18th century prelacy and has undergone a total renovation in recent years, as has the entire complex. There are three seminar rooms, one 55 m² in size, a second 90 m², and a third 100 m². All rooms have natural lighting (and shades for darkening) as well as Internet access and modern seminar equipment.

Staying in the storehouse

The adjoining Winzerhotel is housed in a listed building, the former storehouse of the winery. This hotel is the perfect place to relax after an eventful day of seminar activities. The two wedding suites, a junior suite and 16 double rooms are appointed in fine country-home style and offer all the modern amenities. Lunch and dinner are served at Klostergasthaus, known as one of the best restaurants in the land for its superb interpretations of traditional Austrian cuisine. The region is a favorite destination for day trips close to Vienna so you have a wide variety of choices for social programs to accompany your meeting. The range extends from guided tours through the wine estate to hikes from rustic hut to rustic hut with snacks along the way or Segway tours through the vineyards or a visit to Casino Baden or to the Römertherme hot spring baths in Baden.
