The offer "guest in the monastery“ allows you to spend some time in Göttweig, from April till October. The simply furnished rooms are located in the quiet area of the retreat house St. Altmann, opposite to the church. The 13 single, 3 twin and 6 double rooms are equipped with shower and toilet. 7 single rooms are expandable to two beds. In addition to the guest rooms in the retreat house there is an impressive apartment for connoisseurs available. The former living rooms of the abbot are now an elegant suite with a special charm - the Benedict apartment. The 120 sq. Benedict apartment includes a bedroom for 2 persons, a dining room with a small library, a large living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. For further 4 persons there is the possibility of extra beds. High baroque stucco ceilings, antique furniture with inlays, historical paintings and sculptures from Max Julius Wunderlich complete the baroque living experience.
