Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Danube, this Benedictine abbey is one of Austria’s grandest and most important monasteries. For over 900 years, it has been a meeting place and a site imbued with special energy.
The venue dominated by the baroque monastic complex offers a unique setting for an array of events. The lavatorium, summer refectory, St. Benedict’s Hall in the abbey courtyard and two seminar rooms add that special something to any number of events. The abbey restaurant with its cozy dining rooms, panorama room and large terrace has capacity for up to 320 guests and affords stunning views of the surrounding area. These amazing views can also be enjoyed in some of the 35 guest rooms.
