Schloss Eckartsau
Seminar and special event location
This castle halfway between Vienna and Bratislava once served as an idyllic imperial getaway with hunting grounds dating to Baroque times and was the final residence of the last Austrian emperor and his family. Today it is a cultural jewel set in the midst of Donau-Auen National Park.
The stylish ambiance lends a touch of exclusivity to company parties, seminars, presentations or lectures. You can choose from any number of backdrops. The five staterooms on the first upper floor add sparkle to your event while the woodpaneled library offers an aristocratic country feel. The stunning ballroom with its exquisite plasterwork and frescoes exudes baroque elegance and the courtyard evokes an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. Surrounding the castle is a grand and idyllic 27 hectare castle park, the perfect place for participants to take a leisurely stroll and mull over what they have just heard and learned.
